Okay Chummers, I know none of you know what Shadowrun is so I'll peek your curiosity by simply stating it's genre:
Cyberpunk meets high fantasy. Yes, you read that correctly. Deal with it.
When I was a kid I was OBSESSED with the video games and books (I never got a chance to play the pen & paper games though
).
It's essentially been in stasis for a half a decade and I'd all but given up hope, but then.....BAM!
There are two games coming out this year, one being "Shadowrun Online" which looks kinda nice but "Shadowrun Returns" is
my pick for the hotness.
I don't know who the artists are working on it but Goddamn they've got me all in a tizzy, I mean look at it: [link]
It looks the way I always imagined the Shadowrun universe when I was a kid, and I know deep down no matter what games come out this year this will be
the one I'll play (and enjoy) the most.

DUDE, I played the pen and paper Shadowrun, Both the Genesis and Super Nintendo Versions and most of the new point and click magnificence that's on steam. I still have all my old books even. Why are you more rad the more I get to know you?
